Hydro-meteorological (precipitation and temperature) patterns over the past one year are shown here. The observed global precipitation data used for this analysis are from the Integrated Multi-satellite Retrievals for GPM (IMERG). Months where IMERG data has been calibrated with Global Precipitation Climatology Centre (GPCC) data are displayed using IMERGM data. The most recent months, which have not been calibrated with GPCC are displayed using IMERGDL data. The observed global temperature data used for this analysis are from NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis 1.

Total monthly precipitation along with the corresponding anomalies from the monthly average (2001-2019/20) using IMERGM Monthly data for October 2020 – June 2021 and (2014-2020) using IMERGDL Daily data for July – September 2021 are shown here. As the calibrated IMERGM Monthly data becomes available it will replace the IMERGDL Daily data in these figure, therefore some changes may occur.
